Irish Lift Trucks offers a comprehensive range of training courses covering all types of materials handling equipment. All courses are accreddited by the RTITB (the Road Transport Industry Training Board) and approved by the national training and employment authority (FAS) under the FAS Training Support Scheme. Training instructors are also registered & qualified with the RTITB. The training is delivered by an RTITB qualified and registered instructor.

The courses are designed to cover all levels of forklift operator, from beginner to advanced and are available over one, three and five days (all to RTITB standards). Training courses may be provided in-company or at Irish Lift Trucks training centre in Baldonnell. Training ensures that employees are up to date with their legal responsibilities and the safest operating procedures to use. Some of the other benefits derived from driver training include:
